Common questions
The app crashed on startup
This is almost always caused by a corrupted local data file. Try this in order:
- Force-stop Praxia from Android Settings → Apps → Praxia → Force Stop, then reopen.
- If it crashes again, clear app storage: Android Settings → Apps → Praxia → Storage & cache → Clear storage. This resets the app to a fresh state and removes your progress.
- If it still crashes, email support@edusharktraining.com with your phone model, Android version, and the steps you took just before the crash.
The AI features show “Gemma init failed”
The cloud backend needs a valid API key and an active internet connection. Check:
- Your phone is online (open a webpage in your browser to confirm).
- The Praxia AI feature flag is enabled in the in-app settings.
- If you are using your own Hugging Face token, it is valid and has access to the model.

I built a course but it isn’t showing on Home
Pull the Home screen down to refresh. If the course still isn’t there, the build may have failed mid-way. Tap the corner button → Build Course with Gemma 4, retype the topic, and try again.
I lost my streak after travelling
Streaks are checked against your phone’s local time. If your phone changed time zones, the streak engine may have counted a missed day. We are working on smarter time-zone handling for a future release. For now, the simplest fix is to keep practising one lesson a day in the new time zone.
How do I delete my data?
See the dedicated Data Deletion page. Short version: Profile tab → Settings → Delete my data, or uninstall the app.
The app is in English — can I change the language?
The UI is currently English only. AI features (Byte the tutor, AI-generated courses) accept and respond in many languages — just write your prompt in your language. Multilingual UI support is on the roadmap.
I’m a teacher / training partner — can I use Praxia in my classroom?
Yes. The app is free for classroom use. If you would like to discuss a partnership for adapting Praxia to your curriculum, please contact info@edusharktraining.com.
Reporting a bug
When you write to support@edusharktraining.com, including the following in your first email helps us resolve the issue faster:
- Your phone model (for example, Samsung Galaxy A15) and Android version.
- The Praxia version, shown in the Profile tab.
- What you were doing when the issue happened.
- What you expected to happen.
- What actually happened (a screenshot or screen recording is gold).
