Praxia — Data Deletion

How to remove your data from the Praxia app and from EDUSHARK records.

What Praxia stores about you

Praxia stores your learning data locally on your device. The single file edushark_data.json in the app’s private storage contains:

  • The display name you typed during onboarding.
  • Your XP, level, current streak, last practice date, hearts and heart-refill timer.
  • The list of completed lessons and units.
  • Achievements you have unlocked.
  • Any AI-generated courses you have created.

None of this is uploaded to EDUSHARK servers or shared with third parties through the app. If you have used cloud-mode AI features, your prompt text and any images you submitted were sent to the configured AI inference provider (for example, Hugging Face); we do not log them ourselves. Option 1 — Delete inside the app (recommended)

This is the fastest method. It works without any internet connection.

  1. Open Praxia on your phone.
  2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
  3. Scroll to the Settings section.
  4. Tap Delete my data.
  5. Confirm. The app wipes the local JSON, the generated-courses cache, and any photos you imported for Snap-a-Problem, then resets the app to a fresh state.

Heads up. Deletion is immediate and irreversible. There is no “trash” folder. If you want to keep a copy of your progress, take a screenshot of the Profile screen before tapping Delete.

Option 2 — Uninstall the app

Uninstalling Praxia removes the local data along with the app:

  1. Long-press the Praxia icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Tap Uninstall (or drag the icon to the “Uninstall” target, depending on your phone’s launcher).
  3. Confirm.

Reinstalling Praxia later starts with a blank slate.

Option 3 — Clear app storage

If you prefer to keep the app installed but wipe its data:

  1. Open your phone’s Settings app.
  2. Go to Apps → Praxia.
  3. Tap Storage & cache.
  4. Tap Clear storage (or Clear data on older Android versions).

Option 4 — Request deletion from EDUSHARK

If you have separately contacted us by email, contact form, or as part of a paid programme, you can ask us to delete the records we hold about you. Email:

Subject: “Delete my data”
To: privacy@edusharktraining.com
Include: the email address or phone number you used to contact us, and a short description of which records you would like deleted.

We will:

  • Acknowledge your request within 5 working days.
  • Complete the deletion within 30 days, or sooner.
  • Confirm in writing once it is done.

Records we may have to retain even after your request:

  • Invoices and payment records, for the period required by Indian tax and audit law (currently 8 years).
  • Records needed to defend or pursue legal claims.
  • Anonymised statistical information that cannot be linked back to you.

If you only want to delete part of your data

You can also ask for a more targeted deletion (for example, “remove the message I sent through the contact form on 5 March”). Use the same email address as above and describe what you want removed.
